（中央社記者曾盈瑜台北2日電）中國國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱晚間發表新聞稿指出，情勢已很清楚，國民黨已團結將全力支持洪秀柱到底。她深感責任重大，要沉思兩三天，思考帶領國民黨逆轉勝的策略。
洪秀柱競選團隊晚間發出新聞稿指，這幾天副總統吳敦義、國民黨主席朱立倫、立法院長王金平都已挺身支持，團結挺柱態勢已經很明白。「柱姐深感責任重大，要沉思兩三天，思考帶領國民黨逆轉勝的策略。」
洪秀柱稍早先在臉書貼文指出，感謝大家對她的支持與鼓勵，但「我決定暫停每天陀螺般的行程，進行深刻的反省與沉思」。相關說法引發外界關切，洪辦隨即發新聞稿作上述聲明。
洪辦受訪時則簡短表示「洪秀柱不會退也不會接副手」。1040902
